March Madness

March Madness, my old friend and lost love. Thank you for coming back to me. Every year, you return at the right time, just when I am about to lost it and in a complete February funk. I am tired of February, tired of winter, tired of not remembering my new year's resolutions, and bored of the new year. You bring hope into my heart, spring is coming and it begins with you

I miss the sound of shoes squeaking on the floor, basketball on TV all the time, TV announcers making stupid comments and trying to find things to talk about, bracketology talk, bubble teams, serious rivarlys, players posting up, shooting threes and being on FIRE, amazing last second shoots and wins, the crazy frantic fans, the fair weather fans, the DUNKS, cinderella teams, bracket busters, and the office pools for fame and glory. Thank you for providing joy in one persons life.

Thank you for the being the one constant in my life!

Undercover Boss Awesomeness

The world is full of cut-throats and meanness, so it is nice to see a show that is positive.  I loved extreme house makeover in the beginning, when it selected people that really needed help and made live good.  I have been catching glimpses of the show "Undercover Boss" and I see people recognizing those that work hard and rewarding them.  These bosses are able to see people who work hard and have struggles and them reward them.  It is do good to see goodness in the world for those that work hard.

Too Nice!

I am tired of being told I am too nice.  Really, I have never seen that as a bad thing.  As a coach of junior students, I don't yell-I encourage and correct.  I don't scream and punish-I reward those that work hard.  Why is it that we think that coaches have to be hated, mean, yelling, and swear?  Each coach has their coaching style, coaching boys and girls is different, please stop telling me I am too nice.  I am not coaching college basketball, even high school basketball where apparently winning is everything.

So please stop telling me I am too nice, at least someone in the world is too nice.
