Well, It is official I used a snowblower for the first time. At my new place, we (me and my roommate) are the groundkeepers. So when it snows, we shoveled most of the time. Well, my roommate was out of town and it snowed 6 inches, I think. I heart snowblowers. I had adjusting to the snow, but it is getting old quick. It never melts, because it doesn't get warm enough. If by chance it gets above freezing temps. more than likely it is warm spell, followed by a serious snowstorm. I have learned a few things here. I miss the rain and cloudy days of Washington.
In other exciting news, I made a major purchase recently. A wedding ring, I haven't kept the secret long enough. hahaha, not really. Needed a good laugh. I bought a plane ticket to visit my parents in Australia in May. This is where is gets really complicated, keep up. So my sister Colette's gets married on May 24th, well, I was going to visit my parents before the wedding, but my mom has permission to come early for the wedding. Not a good plan to visit her which she isn't there. So, I fly to Raleigh, NC for the wedding and fly to Australia with my parents. It is not over yet. Well, I have to be in Seattle on June 12th, because I must attend a graduation for my high schools students (the school I used to teach at). So I fly from Australia to Seattle on June 11th. Crazy, what, I have to be in Boise, Idaho for my first week of EFY on June 13th. From there I will do be in charge of 7 weeks of EFY around the Northwest (one week off in between) and eventually return to Salt Lake City in August. It is a good thing, I am not getting a wedding ring, a boy would have to chase me half way around the world to keep up. I am playing hard to get.
What is great is that I am so excited about spending a week home with my family for Colette's wedding and 2 weeks with my parents in the land down under. I have been saving my money for 1 1/2 years to visit them. Another stamp in my passport.

Starting a new semester
Wow, I can't believe Christmas and New Years went by so fast. I loved being home in Raleigh. Spending time with my sisters and my brother and their families. My youngest sister Colette is officially engaged and will be getting married in May. YEH, we like Daniel. Great Catch! I was able to see Andy and Alex's first born. So cute, Ethan is adorable. I don't have a picture right now. Alex was able to graduate college, (with a little makeup work left because she had the baby during the semester). Andy should be done in May or after the summer. Jill and Troy are moving to Utah this upcoming summer. I am excited they will be out here to spend time with those that are currently living here. Annie and Les, busy as usual. Always so project, they are doing, like painting their room. I miss everyone already.
Well, I came back to Utah and moved to another place. Another girl in my ward needed a roommate and would be cheaper for me to live with her. I left the historial home with 4 roommates and moved into a 4plex with one roommate. Rebecca is great, she works at the Department of Health focusing on the inversion of air in the Salt Lake Valley. I was lucky to stay in the same ward and slowly increasing who I know. It is a big ward, comparing to my other wards. I started classes last week. I have 3 classes again. One requires tons of reading and the other two are supposed to be seriously hard. So I have my work cut out for me.
