I heart Snowblowers!

Well, It is official I used a snowblower for the first time. At my new place, we (me and my roommate) are the groundkeepers. So when it snows, we shoveled most of the time. Well, my roommate was out of town and it snowed 6 inches, I think. I heart snowblowers. I had adjusting to the snow, but it is getting old quick. It never melts, because it doesn't get warm enough. If by chance it gets above freezing temps. more than likely it is warm spell, followed by a serious snowstorm. I have learned a few things here. I miss the rain and cloudy days of Washington.
In other exciting news, I made a major purchase recently. A wedding ring, I haven't kept the secret long enough. hahaha, not really. Needed a good laugh. I bought a plane ticket to visit my parents in Australia in May. This is where is gets really complicated, keep up. So my sister Colette's gets married on May 24th, well, I was going to visit my parents before the wedding, but my mom has permission to come early for the wedding. Not a good plan to visit her which she isn't there. So, I fly to Raleigh, NC for the wedding and fly to Australia with my parents. It is not over yet. Well, I have to be in Seattle on June 12th, because I must attend a graduation for my high schools students (the school I used to teach at). So I fly from Australia to Seattle on June 11th. Crazy, what, I have to be in Boise, Idaho for my first week of EFY on June 13th. From there I will do be in charge of 7 weeks of EFY around the Northwest (one week off in between) and eventually return to Salt Lake City in August. It is a good thing, I am not getting a wedding ring, a boy would have to chase me half way around the world to keep up. I am playing hard to get.
What is great is that I am so excited about spending a week home with my family for Colette's wedding and 2 weeks with my parents in the land down under. I have been saving my money for 1 1/2 years to visit them. Another stamp in my passport.

I thought about you having to shovel the snow during that big storm Monday morning. I am excited for you to do all that traveling this year! I'll miss seeing you though.
