I would love to go red, but that seems angry, yellow-happy or being a chicken, blue-sad and depressing, purple-yeah, it sounded great, until someone told me that meant going gay. (can't use what has already been taken). Black is Gothic and slightly racist, as well as white and brown. That leaves only one basic color left orange.
I decided, I am going Orange. What does it mean? No, I am not trying to get skin cancer and get tan. Orange is a balance between red and yellow. We should be more balanced. I decided it means to more social. Our world could use this balance. Our world could use more nice, friendly people. We could smile to strangers and say hello. We can put ourselves out there, out of our comfort zones. For example: We go to church, sit by the same people, talk to the same people, sit in the same pews. I dare you to sit on the other side of church, it is a whole new perspective. Talk to someone new. Invite someone over for dinner. Be bold, brave, balanced, social, do something out of your comfort zone. GO ORANGE!

That's easy for me, orange is my favorite color!
I hope things are going well and keep up the orange movement!
Hey Rachel!
Yeah - running an environmental company I am assaulted from every direction on "going green" and sustainability. It is definitely getting to be a tired media slogan.
The goal is great, and I applaud it. But, I appreciate your perspective and I would love to go ORANGE with you!
It's all about balance.
I'm going orange! Thanks Rachel!
Look at you!
Starting a new trend... I was never that eager to jump on the GO GREEN anyway. I think I can handle your ORANGE challenge... :)
I'm jumping on this bandwagon. Go Orange!!!
I bleed Orange. Orange is my favorite color and also the color of my favorite sports team, the Oregon State Beavers.
Make sure to wear ORANGE to the U of U game next Thursday ;)
Woah- sit in a different pew at church? Now that's just asking too much.
I think I'm going to go Burnt Sienna...
I'm so glad for this post. I thought I was the only person getting nauseated from this media blitz. I'm sooo happy to go orange!
