A date which will live in infamy

"Dec. 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy."
As a lover of history, especially World War II, this day has been special to me. They are a select few dates in history that changes everything, this is one of them. One day I will be able to go to Pearl Harbor (I am sure I will cry, I do at most memorials.) Those sacred grounds where many people have died, have a special place in my heart.

Hey Rachel!

The Memorial is truly amazing. Before you take a boat over, they show a video to make you realize everything that happened that day. I hope you get to go soon! (Go early in the day - lines get really long.)

Twenty-one years ago, I called my parents and told my dad he had a new grandson. He said, "So, you have a Pearl Harbor baby." I have always been glad that Dan was born on a day that has so much meaning for our country.
