I would consider myself somewhat of a Trekkie. I am not a Klingon speaking, dress up wearing, attending star trek conventions fan, but I have enjoy the show. I grew up watching the Next generation: Star Trek series. I have seen all the Star Trek movies and a few of the older original shows.
My brother and I did see the new movie and I enjoyed it(except one unnecessary scene). I thought the actors did a great job to portray established characters. To my delight, they even through in those one liners I loved by the characters. I have always loved Spock. I have tried the Vulcan grip on many family members (it doesn't seem to work for me). This new movie truly made me love Scotty. I heart Scotty and Spock.

Yeah, I remember you trying the Vulcan grip on me. Sometimes I felt like it worked. lol
