August Adventures

Right before I started school, one of my best friends Erika came to visit. What a blast, it was like we were college roommates again. We couldn't stop chatting. We spent most of our time in downtown SLC. We visited temple square, the conference center, the captial building, even the Relief Society Building. The coolest thing is that in the R.S. building, they have a list of women who donated $5.00 (back in the day) to help build the building. I found some ancestors on the list. Super coolness.

We also meet up with some of her in-laws and my good friend, Hendersons. We all went to some super good dessert treat place. I was overwhelmed with choices.

Overwhelmed and hungry

It looks good!

The Hedgehog.
Thanks to Erika's husband for treating her and I to some play time and taking care of their children.

YUMMY! Too many choices, I'd have to have a bit of all of them. ;)

Is that at The Bakery?! They have some yummy selections there! Jealous, jealous of all the delicious desserts you had. :D

Hey Rachel!!

Thanks for taking care of Erika out there in Utah! She had a terrific time, although I know the trip felt really really short.

It was my pleasure to take a few days off and watch the kids. We'll have to do it again next year, maybe in the spring?

Thanks Rachel! I had so much fun- it was like being in college again! Thanks for being a great tour guide and never complaining about being a tourist with me!
