As a teacher, I normally have summers off. This year, I stayed around and did summer school for six weeks. Summer school was fun, but it was hard to get into summer mode. It took me about 4 weeks to relax and leave the school year behind. Luckily for me, it helped that I have a new calling in my ward. I am in the Young Women's program. Yes-tons of activities, etc... It has been great.
Now, I am taking my semi-annual visit to the South. I am excited as normal about seeing my family and the nieces and nephews. I will be spending tons of time at the pool, I am trying to find a way to the beach, seeing old friends, reading a few books, sleeping in, working out for real, sweating in the heat, going to Goodberrys and Char-grill. Watch out, here I come North Carolina!
